With the start of the new 2008/09 Ridgeons League season only a week away, the club's ground grading and promotion sub committee have been hard at work behind the scenes in ensuring that the Crown Meadow is up to standard in preparation for the next tier of non league football.

K&P left shipshape after Viking raid
FORGING links with the Vikings….Kirkley and Pakefield FC have had an unusual set of guests helping out at their Walmer Road facilities. A group of Viking sailors set up a camp resembling wig-wams on the club's car park a week before the Air Festival following a chance phone call.
